D.Y.M.E.S. MOTOR CYCLE CLUB
(Dedicated, Young, Motivated, Extraordinary, Sistas)
We are an all woman's motorcycle club located in Amityville, Long Island, NY. Currently D.Y.M.E.S. has 8 members but expanding gradually. We are a sports bike club owning Kawasaki's Honda's, Yamaha's, etc. We decided in April 2006 that we want to start a club because of our love for the bike.
We officially started the club August of 2006. We have gotten a lot of support from all neighborhood MC's especially during our annual calendar. As for the community we've volunteered for a Pre-school doing a car wash. As well as did our ownToy Drive and donated all our toys to the Keep The Peace Foundation, we have also partcipated in charity walks such as The Lupus Walk, MS walk and Asthma walk (which we helped sponsor in 2007).
We enjoy community service we have adopted a highway in our neighborhood. We clean Great Neck Rd monthly, and the families of the community really appericates us and the hard work we do.
Some details on the ladies of D.Y.M.E.S. Water is our President Ms.Evil the Treasurer, Sunshine the Secretary, Pocahontas the P.R.O. , 2~Ply the Webmaster, Lona the Events Coordinator, So Unique our very own photographer, last but not least Ms. Negotiator whos name speaks for itself.
The best part of being a D.Y.M.E.S. M/C member is the unity of our sisterhood. In the furture we plan...... to continue our Annual Calendar, Community service walks/runs, toy drive, school supply give away/ BBQ. We hope to raise money to offer scholarships to students for college books, and just become a bigger and better organization as a whole.
We must show love to our familes that have supported us through this we know in the begining it was a little time consuming, and the first MC that helped us get started on logos and information. RRA (Road Riding Alliance) President Spark has been great to us. Also Destiny from Creative Imaging for the logo clean up, DOC for the new 2007 logo. WominX.net for our first interview.RDP for our first interview in a magazine. C.M.B M.C for teaching us the beginning of how to ride and guiding us through. Straight Hood Riders, Triple XXX Riders, Sik Wit It Riders, Psychotic Riders, Fearless Dames Underworld MC, Bounce Squad, Next Genration RR, Infamous 36 Riders, B.R.A.T.S., & Notorious 21. Also to the Lost Boys MC for featuring us in their fashion show and helping support our Toy Drive. We hope we mentioned everyone. If not we apolgize and love you all!!!!
